Ian Dyson is reported to be stepping down as chief executive of pub group Spirit, which was recently demerged from Punch Taverns.
The Sunday Times reported that the former Marks & Spencer finance director would be quitting the business by the end of the year. Deputy chief executive Mike Tye is expected to succeed him.
Spirit runs 1,350 pubs under brands such as Chef & Brewer and Fayre & Square.
Spirit declined to comment.
