Big Green Tick Turkey Meatballs and Turkey Burgers are the latest improved lines for pupils from Bernard Matthews Foodservice.
The kids' favourites have been reformulated to comply with nutritional guidelines in schools and now contain less than 10% of a child's guideline daily amount of fat, saturated fat and salt.
"We developed these new recipes with the School Food Trust's strict standards in mind, enabling caterers to continue serving up food kids crave with complete confidence," said Duncan Marsh, general manager of Bernard Matthews Foodservice.
Both products are made from fully-traceable British turkey that is rapid-frozen. No artificial colours, flavours, preservatives, hydrogenated vegetable oils are used.
