Ovetto- closed

Italy's Nochicima has bought a touch of Latin style to recycling with the launch of Ovetto, an egg-shaped recycling bin designed by Gianluca Soldi.

The soft, tapered design - which stands 84cm high and 45cm wide - fits neatly into halls, reception areas, meeting rooms and vending machine areas.

It is divided into three compartments, each with a bottom-hinged door for bag removal and a small opening above for dropping in waste.

The top of the oval contains a crusher to reduce the volume of cans and plastic bottles. Ovetto is made in Italy from ABS and recycled polypropylene. Doors and lids are available in blue, brown, green, grey, red or yellow.
