Bloom Sun and Bloom ShadowBucking the recent trend for pure white tableware, Villeroy & Boch has hired designer Francoise Jeanmoye to bring subtle patterns back to the dinner table with Bloom, a golden bloom motif in delicate pencil strokes.

The floral theme is available on both white (Bloom Sun) and black (Bloom Shadow) porcelain thermal shock-proof tableware, which provide a striking contrast when used together.

The crockery is based on forms from the Food & Mood, Dune and Cera ranges and can also be matched with white Dune cups.

Bloom Shadow is available in five sizes of round Dune plates and three angular Cera plates.

Bloom Sun adds to these pieces two oval Dune plates, four Dune dishes, and three dishes and a pasta plate based on the Cera shapes.

The patterns carry a lifetime guarantee and the pieces also benefit from a three-year edge chip warranty.
