Herú Pinot Noir

Herú is the first premium Pinot Noir from leading Chilean producer Viña Ventisquero . The wine is named after the crimson-hatted dwarf Herú, who is known locally as the guardian of the winery's enchanted land and vineyards in the Casablanca Valley.

The 100% Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested from a one-hectare parcel of vines in Viña Ventisquero's vineyards in Casablanca. The granite plot with its limited sun exposure is ideal for Pinot Noir, and the slow-ripened grapes undergo a low-temperature maceration before the wine is aged in French oak for 14 months.
