Bibendum has secured a UK distribution agreement with Agricola Castellana of Spain for its flagship Cuatro Rayas Vinedos Centenarios Verdejo red wine.

Originally a small co-operative, Agricola Castellana is now the pre-eminent Verdejo producer in Rueda and one of the largest in Spain. The wine has labelling designed exclusively for the on-trade and comes from vines with an average age of 100 years.

Also from Bodegas Tabula, comes Damana 5, a wine described as having a modern, elegant, fresh style. The 2007 Damana 5 is a blend of 96% Tempranillo and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from 10-year-old vines which spends five months in French and American oak barrels.
