Chicken specialist Love Joes has created a mini version of its pre-made wraps. Mini Wrappe is a hand-held concept for caterers on the look-out for an alternative to traditional snacks such as crisps, burgers and chips.
After research with school caterers into the flavours that tempt younger customers, the company developed Mini Wrappes in three varieties: All Day Breakfast - bacon, egg, beans and potatoes in a sweet tomato sauce; Chicken Tikka Masala - chicken pieces, potatoes and mixed vegetables in a spicy masala sauce; and Mexican Bean - mixed beans, potatoes and cheese in hot, smoky barbecue sauce. Mini Wrappe is available in boxes of 40, with distinct point of sale material.
Taking the concept a step further, Love Wrappin' Joes is a hand-made wrap concept which allows children to choose which flavour of chicken they would like. Caterers can sell different flavours on a rota basis with guest flavours every week, while Love Joes provides equipment, branded packaging, machinery training, serving suggestions and branding advice.
