La Tasca has announced its first Sam & Maxie’s restaurant will launch this April at Stevenage Leisure Park in Hertfordshire.
The famil-friendly new concept is being marketed in the “premium casual dining” bracket and is based on a bar, grill and smokehouse concept.
Diners will be able to enjoy Chowders, Risotto Cakes, Angus steaks, and a range of smokehouse dishes such as ribs, chicken and fish.
La Tasca plans to open a second Sam & Maxie’s by July at an as yet undisclosed location.
James Horler, chief executive of La Tasca said: “We are excited about the prospects for Sam & Maxie’s and remain confident that the leisure park market represents a substantial opportunity for growth for the group.”
La Tasca said it remained on course to open six restaurants in the UK in the second half of the year, and will open its third La Tasca restaurant in the USA next month in Baltimore.
A fifth La Viña restaurant is under construction in Sheffield.
The group currently operates 57 restaurants in the UK and two in the US.
