Industry charity Hospitality Action (HA) has appointed a trio of new trustees.

David Field, managing director of Nestle Foodservices; Mark Lewis, editor of the Caterer Group; and Peter Hazzard of Chaddlewood Consulting will advise the organisation on its strategy going forward.

Hospitality Action chief executive Penny Moore said:  “By building the core of our organisation with experienced professionals, we aim to drive the charity’s presence and support in all sectors of the industry.”

Field has 22 years of experience in the foodservice industry and has also worked at Kerry Foods, Highland Distilleries and Lyons Coffee.

Lewis, who assumed his current role last year after twelve months as Caterer’s deputy editor, was previously deputy editor on trade title Computer Weekly.

Hazzard has previously worked for contract caterer Sodexho and has led HA’s London Regional Board as chairman.
