
An award-winning boutique hotel in the Cotwolds has been put on the market with its smaller sister for a combined £14.85m.
Knight Frank has been instructed to seek offers of £12m for Cotswold House hotel in Chipping Camden, while Knight Frank and Colliers Robert Barry are inviting offers of £2.85m for the Noel Arms.
Cotswold House hotel, on the north side of the High Street, carries four AA red stars, three AA rosettes and was this year awarded a rising Michelin star.
Its many awards include a double Catey in 2006 (for independent hotel and for independent marketing campaign), the 2005 Country House Hotel of the Year award from Conde Nast Johansens, and a Lighting Award from the European Design Awards.
The 29 en-suite bedrooms are mostly housed in three interconnecting Grade II-listed properties. Others can be found in former cottages to the rear of the hotel while the two-bedroom Grammar School Suite is further down the High Street.
Extensive dining facilities include the 18-seat Juliana’s Bar, the 44-seat Juliana’s Restaurant, the 60-seat Hicks Brasserie and a 20-seat private dining area.
Functions are catered for by the Montrose Suite, which can hold up to 96 delegates at a banquet or 120 theatre-style.
The price includes a three-bedroom owners’ house - the Coach House – with its own private garden to the rear of the hotel.
The Noel Arms, which is located on the south side of the town’s High Street, provides 26 bedrooms and has planning permission for developments that include a new spa.
