Howards Inn & Restaurant

Golfer Aaron Howard has sold the Howards Inn and Restaurant and the adjoining Luncarty Inn in the Perthshire village of Luncarty.

The property – which is near the main A9 and just four miles from Perth – was created from old farm buildings that form part of a U-shaped courtyard.

The 60-seat Howards Restaurant is in the original mill round while the Howards Inn was the only pub in the village. The Luncarty Inn next door was created later as a locals’ bar.

The business includes three letting bedrooms on the first floor of the Howard Inn and Restaurant, with a beer garden and children’s play area outside.

New owners Tony Caira and Jackie McMorris are experienced licensees who most recently owned a hotel in Dunbar.

The Edinburgh office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold of a guide price in excess of £395,000.
