Top Clean is a hard-wearing range of pre-rinse sprays from Mechline that can slash the excessive water consumption that occurs when operators leave water running, even when they are not using the spray.
Water flow is activated on Top Clean models only when the operator pulls the spray gun towards the sink. A gas spring slowly returns the hose to its starting position, cutting off the water jet when the unit is not in use.
The system - which is easily retro-fitted to existing sinks - also has a wider reach, as a swivel valve allows the unit to rotate and move beyond the pre-rinse area.
Top Clean is part of Mechline's new GastroTechnix range of taps and pre-rinse sprays made from high-grade brass and plated with chrome.
It incorporates a full range of water taps - including mixer and bridge taps, either as deck- or wall-mounts or as monoblocs - available in 1/2in and 3/4in mountings. The line-up includes chef's table or cooking island faucets with high-level dispense facilities.
