K30 twin espresso grinderMahlkönig coffee grinders are seen as natural partners to the Italian-built espresso machines made by La Spaziale, which is the exclusive UK supplier of the Mahlkönig  lines.

The K30 Twin espresso grinder for on-demand use is popular in places where different beans need to be freshly ground and takes up 30% less space than two conventional grinders.

It starts automatically when the portafilter is inserted and can grind the beans for a 7g espresso in just two seconds, with the weight of coffee delivered accurate to within 0.1g for each grind.

Features include flow-optimised high-precision cutting discs to deliver fresher coffee via cooler grinding, electronic control, variable timer programming and presets for single and double shots.

The new range also includes three retail grinders. The Kenia model is aimed at small coffee shops, roasters and delis with medium demand, while the Guatemala is a high-performance coffee grinder for prolonged use. Bags are clamped into the bag holder and vibrated during grinding to reduce the volume of ground coffee. The K501 is a heavy-duty aluminium unit for dust-free grinding at low temperatures.
