Filter Flow water boilerPrototypes of Lincat's new Filter Flow Boilers - which are claimed to be the first automatic water boilers to feature cost-effective built-in water filtration - were previewed on the company's stand at Hotelympia ahead of their summer launch.

Water filters reduce the build-up of scale and improve the taste and quality of beverages but normally have to be plumbed in separately upstream of the boiler, which is costly and unattractive.

The new four-strong range (models EB3F, EB4F, EB6F and EB6FT) also features on-board diagnostics and an LCD panel that reports on the operational status of the boiler and prompts users when to change the filters.

The improved boilers will replace the current Lincat range but command similar price points.
