French manufacturer Bourgeat has added two new mobile cupboards to its line of Satellite GN banqueting trolleys that help caterers keep meals hot or cold. Both are made from stainless steel with internal one-piece pressed walls on slide rails.
The new GN14 is a cold cabinet that will accept 14 gastronorm 1/1 trays to a maximum load of 140kg. The thermostat can be set between 0°C and 10°C, which will be shown on a temperature control digital display, and the ventilation system guarantees an even temperature throughout the cabinet.
It is available with either a stainless-steel or a glazed door, priced respectively at £3,841 or £4,118 excluding VAT.
The 2GN20 hot cabinet has two compartments with separate controls to minimise heat loss when doors are open. It can also help keep food cold with the use of previously frozen gastronorm eutectic plates.
The cabinet will take 2 x 30 gastronorm 1/1 trays or 2 x 10 gastronorm 2/1 trays up to a maximum 300kg.
It is available with or without humidification, with excluding-VAT prices of £4,106 or £4,569 respectively.
