Argo workwear fabrics A range of high-specification added-value fabrics for the restaurant and hotel sector that are made in Indonesia to European standards has been unveiled by Argo Workwear, part of the Argo Manunggal conglomerate.

They include the Argo Bioactive polycotton with Trevira bug-busting silver technology woven into the fabric for permanent protection.

The fabrics include polyester-cotton options in ratios that range from 35:65 through 50:50 to 65:30, and Argo Stretch fabric with Dow XLA, which is resistant to high temperatures and laundry chemicals.

The materials are targeted at front-of-house, reception and kitchen staff and include twills, plain styles and colour-woven fabrics.
All have been tested to European laundry standards, and wash at industrial temps of 95°C. Argo, which has been imported into Europe for some time but is now asserting its own brand, is represented by management agent Peco International.
