BeeWyched honey beerBeeWyched is a fragrant honey beer from Oxfordshire Fairtrade beer supplier Wychwood Brewery.

The 5% abv amber-coloured ale uses Chilean Fairtrade honey from the foothills of the Andes, Fairtrade sugars from Malawi, English pale ale malts and English Challenge hops.

The result is a smooth drink with the aroma of honey, a crisp blend of grapefruit flavours from the hops, and a hint of vanilla.

For the on-trade, the seasonal cask beer will be available in August through distributor Waverley TBS.

At the same time, the group is reverting its popular Hobgoblin ruby ale to its historic 4.5% abv (from 5%) on draught from the beginning of March. More Styrian Goldings hops have been added to add complexity and citrus flavours.

The bottled Hobgoblin remains at 5.2% abv.
