Charles Lafitte Grande Cuvée - a Brut NV Champagne - is the first in the brand's sub-range to be launched in the UK.
Priced at £27.99, it represents a new entry point for the Charles Lafitte range from Diageo company Vranken-Pommery Monopole, which includes the more premium 1834 brand.
The newcomer - which contains a higher percentage of Chardonnay - is produced under the direction of Sabrina Roussel, one of just three female Chef de Caves in the region, and will be followed in the coming months with a rosé NV, a Demi-Sec NV and a Vintage Champagne.
The Charles Lafitte Grande Cuve is packed six bottles to the case, with minimum orders set at two boxes. It is available in the UK through agents Justerini & Brooks and Percy Fox.
