The UK licensed trade will be the first in the world to benefit from a new premium cola from PepsiCo and Britvic Soft Drinks that Pepsi claims is its most significant innovation in the past decade.
Pepsi Raw is a more subtly flavoured drink with an unusual colour and a more delicate carbonation. The recipe includes ingredients from natural sources, such as plant extracts, and contains no artificial colours, preservatives, flavourings or sweeteners.
Aimed at a sophisticated urban market, Pepsi Raw has been launched exclusively for the UK licensed trade, where sales of £1.5b means cola drinks account for 42% of total soft drinks sales.
Available in 300ml glass bottles packed 24 to the case, Pepsi Raw launches this month in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool before rolling out nationally.
