Pomegranate juiceGrowing consumer demand for premium drinks has prompted Britvic to launch what it believes is the first stand-alone pomegranate juice drink for the on-premises market.

Sales of pomegranate juice have soared by 122% in the past 12 months to account for £18m of the £180m total market for fruit juices. Pomegranate, which is packed with vitamins and antioxidants, is already the eighth best-selling fruit juice flavour in the take-home sector.

The Britvic offer is available in non-returnable bottles that come in two sizes - 125ml and 200ml - so they can be used as mixers or solus drinks.

The group has created the signature Pom Pom drink - which includes vodka, Cointreau and ice - to support its launch, along with point of sale kits comprising drip mats, posters and tent cards.
