Gluten-free mini snacks from Honeybuns

Mini cranberry and pecan flapjacksGluten-free bakery Honeybuns has launched a new Minis range of snacks that it claims will be more diet-friendly than the larger rich treats, which do not compromise on taste by using margarine or other "lite" ingredients.

They include oat-based cranberry and pecan flapjacks with maple syrup, and two gluten-free treats.

The Coppice Cake - winner of a Gold Great Taste Award - uses toasted ground hazelnut with some polenta and ground almonds in place of wheat flour as the base of a tart cranberry and dark chocolate snack.

The Heathcliffe brownie is made from toasted ground almond flour, dark chocolate and organic hand-zested orange (which eliminates all traces of pith).

The three Minis snacks are sold in packs of 24 x 35g through wholesalers.
