Organic oak-smoked flour Welsh artisan producer of organic flours Bacheldre Watermill has joined forces with the Organic Smokehouse to give an innovative twist to its award-winning Organic Stoneground Strong Malted Blend Flour.

It is now mixed with malted wheat flakes that have been cold-smoked over oak chippings for 18 hours to impart the sweet aroma and taste of bread being baked in a wood-fired oven.

The new Oak Smoked Stoneground Strong Malted Blend Flour is sold in a stylish black compostable 1.5kg bag that includes recipes on the back for making bread by hand or machine.

The group's flours are certified to the Soil Association's stringent organic standards.
