Melitta's HACCP-compliant coffee machines include the compact Bar machine and Alpha design.
The Bar machine can sit conveniently behind a bar or counter and is capable of delivering up to 150 espressos or 90 cappuccinos per hour.
It features an 18-option speciality menu, two separate hoppers, an extra chute for decaffeinated coffee and a hot water outlet for tea preparation. An integrated milk frother includes a steam nozzle for manual frothing, while a user-friendly display informs operators how full the grounds container is and when automatic cleaning is due to start.
Alpha has a matt silver finish, and its touch-screen control panel comes complete with animated illustrated commands so that every process in the 15-option menu is self-explanatory. A refrigerated module can also accommodate two types of fresh milk.
Also available is the Cup machine, which can produce up to 180 cups per hour from eight options, including hot water for tea and hot chocolate, at the touch of a button. It can be plumbed in or fed from an internal water tank and includes a cup warmer, self-service coin checker and base cupboard. It is available in brushed stainless steel, polished stainless steel or gold and can also incorporate customer designs and logos.
