| Michels: extra role |

David Michels is to assume responsibility for Hilton's hotel division, Hilton International, following the death in March of its chief executive Anthony Harris, the company said today.
Michels will take on the extra responsibility in addition to his current role as group chief executive. Hilton Group's business also includes the Ladbrokes betting shop chain.
Brian Wallace, deputy group chief executive and group finance director, will also take on extra responsibilties for the hotel division, as will Jurgen Fischer, president Hilton International, Europe and Africa.
Fischer had been tipped to take over from Harris.
The changes will take effect from 1 May.
