Over to West Sussex this week, where a licensed restaurant business is offered in an attractive riverside setting.

Houghton Bridge Tea Gardens is located on the banks of the River Arun in the picturesque village of Amberley, which boasts a good number of well-preserved old buildings and is in striking distance of the cathedral town of Arundel. The area is popular with tourists and hikers, with a large number of good trails.

The well-established restaurant, which enjoys spectacular views over the South Downs and has recently been refurbished to a high standard, has 65 covers. An additional 120 customers can be accommodated in the riverside gardens.

Agent Stiles Harold Williams is seeking offers in the region of £185,000 for the leasehold interest in the business. For more information, contact Peter Cottell of Stiles on 01293 441345.
