Sam and Maxie’s fares well as La Tasca continues to grow

Sam & Maxie’s, La Tasca Restaurant’s new grill and smokehouse concept, is trading ahead of expectations according to the company.

In a pre-close trading statement La Tasca said the new restaurant format, which is its third distinct UK brand, had proved a hit since opening in Stevenage Business Park, Hertfordshire, early this month.
 
During the year the company opened a 14 new restaurants including two La Viñas and a La Tasca restaurant Stateside in Baltimore.

For 2007 La Tasca has 14 new sites in the development pipeline, which puts it on course for 78 by the year end.

La Tasca will release its full year results to 30 April on 4 July 2006.
