Ramada Jarvis is marking National Pillow Week next week by putting 23,000 new pillows in its hotel bedrooms across the UK.
The down and feather pillows are non-allergenic and are designed to provide better head and neck support, reducing the effects of sleep related conditions.
Dr Chris Idzikowski from the Edinburgh Sleep Centre who has been working with Ramada, said; “Studies show that properly supporting the back of the head and neck helps prevent the obstruction of the upper airway which can cause conditions including snoring and sleep apnoea to occur during sleep”.
The company is offering its old pillows from its 42 hotels to charities.
