Anton Edelmann joins Digby Trout as consultant

Digby Trout Restaurants, the public catering arm of contract caterer Elior, has appointed Anton Edelmann as consultant chef and original founder Digby Trout to a consultancy role.
 
Edelmann, who left his role as principal chef at Sodexo’s Directors Table arm last summer, and Trout – who founded the company in 1987 – will work alongside Catherine Roe, managing director of Elior’s concessions division, of which Digby Trout is part.
 
The senior team is complemented by concessions divisional director Adam Elliott and marketing director Sandra Parkinson.
 
Roe said: “We are entering a new and important phrase of growth. What better time to bring back one of the industry’s leading lights, and our very own founder, to be part of that growth.”
 
“We’re building on our offer with existing clients, and we know Digby and Anton will be instrumental to that process.”
 
Digby Trout Restaurants, which became part of Elior in 2005, provides catering at Hampton Court Palace, Edinburgh Castle and the Tower of London.
