First Choice Coffee has teamed up with Java Republic to bring the UK market award-winning coffee with the emphasis on ethical sourcing.
The beans are hand-roasted by master roasters with more than three decades of experience before slowly roasting at a low heat.
Once roasted, the Arabica green beans are naturally cooled and stirred in an open tray to maintain the full depth of flavour.
All Java Republic's coffee beans are bought from Fairtrade-certified suppliers or directly from growers and co-operatives, and the company is in the process of setting up the Java Republic Foundation, through which they will pay 11% of their net profit directly back to the coffee-growing communities.
