London hotels saw revenue per available room (revpar) grow by 14.5% in the week ending 24 June, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.
Revpar increased to £144.94, up from £126.60 during the equivalent week of 2006.
Occupancy grew by 2.1 percentage points to 90.6% while average room rate rose by 11.8% to £159.99, compared with £143.04 in the corresponding week of 2006.

Using foraged ingredients is nothing new but the trend has become more mainstream over the past two years. However, the wider use of foraged food in restaurants also carries a certain amount of danger.
