Supplier News: All is well with Hatco

Thursday 28 June 2007 00:00

With a reported 100,000 cases of food poisoning reported each year in the UK1 it is essential that outlets consider health & safety measures when serving food from a buffet. Hatco’s Built-in Heated Wells keep food at safe serving temperatures offering caterers piece of mind.

Hatco’s Built-in Heated Wells provide reliable performance whilst allowing caterers to keep their food hot and ready to serve - no guesswork involved.

All units have a remote temperature thermostat with a separate lighted power switch that retains the heat setting throughout service. Hatco’s Heated Wells provide a consistent holding temperature and an even heat distribution to ensure food is piping hot throughout.

Caterers can choose from four built-in sizes with an option of the countertop being top or bottom mounted. Insulated well construction is also an option with full-size bottom mount models to increase energy savings and therefore costs.

Wet and dry models are available to select in 120, 208 or 240 volts. All wet models have a flat drain screen which keeps all the pans in the unit at consistent temperatures, ensuring food is served at its utmost quality. As an added extra the large drain design – 50% larger than competitor’s models – on wet models makes cleaning surprisingly easier.

All Hatco Heated Wells have a heavy stainless steel construction that is 11% thicker than competitor models, making them more durable and an easier-to-design service offers a quick change of components so that if anything happens caterers can be safe in the knowledge that service will resume as soon as possible without any costly mishaps.

An exclusive long-life heating element is integrated in all models, whilst a one year parts and on-site labour warranty also comes as standard.
