Mahogany V CartePremises that lack the room for a dedicated carvery area can now opt for a space-saving mobile unit to wheel out for special events.

Moffat has introduced a range of mobile V Carte carvery units that simply plug into a 13amp socket.

The carvery comprises two stainless-steel carving pads (with holding spikes) that are thermostatically controlled for even heat distribution, along with a bainmarie above a heated storage cupboard.

The bain-marie can take various combinations of gastronorm pans up to 150mm deep, for sauces and vegetables, and the heated cupboard can accommodate extra plates, roast meat and vegetables. A pop-up plate dispenser at one end can hold as many as 65 plates with diameters between 8in and 12in.

The unit is topped with a quartz heated gantry with curved glass sneeze guard. The units, each 1,490mm x 680m with a serving height of 900mm, come with heavy-duty lockable castors and a choice of American Maple, Russian Maple and Mahogany finishes.
