iTradeNetwork and Ooberstock join forces to revolutionise online drinks trading

Ooberstock](http://www.ooberstock.com), the recently-launched drinks distributor for pubs and hospitality operators, has signed a five-year ecommerce contract with [iTradeNetwork ](http://www.itradenetwork.co.uk)(ITN) which it believes will revolutionise online drinks trading.

The self-described ‘intelligent wholesale business' is using ITN's Supplier Storefront solution to create a fully-integrated online ordering system that is open to customers 24/7.

"We aim to revolutionise online drinks distribution and provide a more cost-effective business model through advanced technologies," said Arran Heal, co-founder and managing director at Ooberstock. Supplier Storefront technology, he added, "allows us to enhance visibility and transparency of our products, prices and special offers, all at the touch of a button."

Its bespoke online portal, [www.ooberstock.com](http://www.ooberstock.com), allows brand owners to upload production information, while customers pay a net price plus a transaction fee and delivery charge. Benefits include lower prices, improved customer choice, better customer communication and more flexible delivery times.

"Our online environment delivers flexibility, versatility and convenience to the food and drink industry," commented Liam Taylor, chief operating officer for Europe at ITN.

More than 4,000 pubs, bars, clubs and hotels have already registered for the service, which has attracted a number of major drinks suppliers such as Heineken UK, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Britvic Soft Drinks, Budweiser Budvar, Red Bull, SHS Sales & Marketing, Highland Spring and Wells & Young.

ITN handles more than £150b-worth of transactions worldwide for in excess of 6,200 clients. They include suppliers and distributors such as 3663, Carlsberg, Heineken UK, Matthew Clark, Molson Coors and Waverley TBS and operators such as Greene King, Marston's, Jupiter Hotels, Macdonald Hotels, Thistle Hotels and Pizza Express.
