Signatures Staycrisp Fries

Product Signatures Staycrisp Fries

USP This premium fry was developed to meet consumer demand for pre-seasoned chips that stay crisp and retain their heat on the plate.

Details The traditional thin-cut chips are blanched in salt water to season and coated in a starch-based batter to retain their heat for longer. They cook in around two minutes.

Profit margin Chips make up 40% of platefill but just 10% of cost, providing a large profit opportunity. McCain recommends selling a 200g portion for £2.50, costing the caterer 45p and yielding a profit of £2.05.

How supplied Frozen, in cases of 4 x 2.27kg
