Michelin-starred Casamia in Bristol relaunches with seasonality at its heart

Michelin-starred restaurant Casamia in Bristol has relaunched as Seasons.Casamia, introducing a new concept with seasonality at its heart.

Under its new guise the award-winning restaurant, which last year won best independent restaurant in Gordon Ramsay's F Word programme, will transform itself four times a year with the changing seasons.

Commenting on the relaunch, chef-proprietor Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias, who owns the restaurant with his brother Peter (pictured), said: "Not only will you see our interior details change each season but the whole Casamia experience will shift throughout the year.

"It means we can make the most of local produce, integrating truly seasonal ingredients when they are in their prime. We've also created a different environment within the restaurant itself, from new artwork to reflect and complement the seasons down to the detail of plants and herbs in our courtyard garden."

Peter and Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias have also launched a development kitchen above the restaurant. Housed in the former family flat, Apt will be used for menu development as well as private masterclasses and dinners.
