Spinosini pasta with Omega 3

A rare and premium dried egg pasta packed with omega-3 fatty acids is the latest addition to IB Food's range of handmade artisan Spinosi pastas.

The pastas have been made in middle Italy since 1933 from extra-fine durum wheat flour and have a rich flavour and colour thanks to the whole, hand-cracked eggs that make up one-third of the ingredients.

The newcomer, Spinosini 2000 with Omega 3, is a square, delicate spaghetti that is produced at the rate of just 70kg of pasta per hour. The eggs used come from a special variety of Livorno hen that is fed on cereals and cold-pressed sunflower oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E.

The Spinosini spaghetti is marketed as an ideal accompaniment to seafood and delicately flavoured sauces, and is sold in £72.10 cases of 20 x 250g packs.

To buy it, call: 0800 252 222
