Mini lamb shanks in minted gravy

Mini lamb shanks in minted gravy and a spring roasting mix are among the seasonal specials to join the Brakes menu of products.

The lamb is cooked sous-vide with the gravy then added to a tray that caterers simply pop into the oven, after thawing, to cook for 30 minutes. The lamb is sold in cases of six packs each containing a single serving of two shanks.

The mixed roast, which also cooks in 30 minutes, combines Chantenay carrots, quartered new potatoes, sliced courgettes and sliced celery, and comes in cases of 2 x 1.5kg packs, with each pack containing about 10 portions.

Brakes has also made its spring vegetable mix available in a microwaveable portion that takes just one minute and 45 seconds to cook.

To buy it, call: 0845 606 9090
