Non-hydrogenated oil from Prep

Prep ZT oil

The suppliers of Prep oil, long associated with extended-life frying, are now offering a version that contains no hydrogenated oil and has less than 1% trans fatty acid content. Prep ZT is specifically formulated for longer-life frying, stability in use and resistance to oxidation. In Rancimat laboratory tests, the oil has been shown to last two-and-a-half times longer than other extended-life oils.

The product's blend of vegetable oils combines monounsaturated fatty acids, saturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. The oil is naturally high in the antioxidant Vitamin E and is GM-free. It carries Vegetarian Society approval. Packs hold 15 litres and discard kits and filter papers are available.
