Little Eats meatballs and spaghetti

The Little Eats range of chilled and frozen ready meals from Danby's comes in child-sized portions and is designed to meet the new nutritional guidelines for lower levels of fats and salt. The most popular dishes - meatballs and spaghetti and macaroni cheese - come in 275g and 250g portions respectively with 12 portions to the case. Danby's also recommends tickling modern children's more cosmopolitan tastes with its Spice of Life range of Indian and Mexican meals or Mediterranean line-up of lasagne, cannelloni and moussaka. The meals all have a minimum shelf life of 12 months, are sold in 12 x 350g or 12 x 400g cases, and are available in both individual and multi-portion servings. Last year, the group's Cheesy Pasta Pork Bolognese, which it co-developed with Leeds City Council Catering Services for the school meal sector, scooped the British Frozen Food Federation Gold Award for Best New Multi-Portion Product in Catering.
