Cornelle ice cream mixTo capitalise on kids' perennial love of ice-cream, Lakeland Dairies company Pritchitts has come up with a long-life ice-cream mix that will last for nine months from the date of manufacture yet produce thick ice-cream within minutes. Cornelle ice-cream mix is a liquid formulation that is ready to pour into commercial soft-serve machines. It comes in two flavours (the non-dairy Vanilla and the dairy Cornish varieties) which serve as a base for caterers - or their young customers - to add their own ingredients such as sweets or chocolate chips. The mix is supplied in cases of 12 one-litre packs which, based on an average serving of 85g, will yield 18 portions per litre.
