Fillings-cum-sauces from Delice de France

Delice de France sandwich fillingsThe five varieties of sandwich fillings introduced by Delice de France double up as sauces for pasta, accompaniments for jacket potatoes or canap‚ fillings.

They include Spicy Italian Meatball, made with pork and beef meatballs in a tomato sauce; Salmon and Cream Cheese seasoned with dill; Chicken Caesar, made with chicken breast meat, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic purée; Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable, containing red, green and yellow peppers, spicy tomato salsa and red kidney beans; and finally, Mexican Bean and Cheese, with hot, spicy salsa, roasted peppers, Red Leicester and Cheddar cheese and red kidney and black-eyed beans.

The fillings are supplied frozen in 500g tubs and have a one-day shelf life after defrosting.
