Friday 29 May 2009 07:25
Farrington's additive-free mayonnaiseFollowing the launch of its cold-pressed rapeseed oil Mellow Yellow, Farrington Oils has introduced additive-free mayonnaise incorporating rapeseed oil, free range eggs, Dijon mustard and lemon.

According to the company, the cold-pressed oil gives the mayonnaise a subtle taste and also has the benefit of being low in saturated fat and rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 oils plus vitamin E.

The recipe uses British free range eggs produced to RSPCA freedom food standards.

Existing products in the Farrington Oils range also include Classic Vinaigrette, Blackberry Vinegar Dressing and Honey and Mustard Dressing.

Larger quantities of the mayonaise are available on request.
