Ice-cream display unitA range of ice-cream conservators from Valera aims to provide attractive ice-cream display and increase sales.

If floor space is an issue, the ICE 2V is a counter-top display that can be used for wrapped products or fitted with two optional stainless steel ice-cream pans. It costs £600.

For serving scoop ice-cream, the Slant Ice has a sliding glass lid and hygienic canopy. Up to nine flavours can be displayed, and are kept cold with a fan-cooled condenser. The unit has added storage space underneath and costs £1,120.

For a more advanced soft-scoop display, the Top 6 and Top 7 models feature a static refrigeration auto-defrost function, fan-cooled condenser plus refrigerated under-storage, and cost from £1,200. The units can hold eight or 12 pans in reserve respectively and display six or seven flavours.

The standard IC range comprises five stainless steel models with easy-slide lids of heat-reflecting glass and one, two or three baskets to hold a selection of wrapped ices.

A further four models maximise display with a curved sliding glass lid. All are on castors and are fitted with locks and childproof controls. Prices range from £425 for the basic single-basket model up to £835 for a triple-basket unit.
