Modular ice makers from Maidaid Halcyon

MV350 ce makerMaidaid Halcyon has a range of modular ice-makers and storage bins that can be combined to ensure a constant supply of ice.

The ice-makers lock into the top of highly insulated stainless steel and polyethylene storage bins with capacities up to 350kg.

The mobile polyethylene bins offer larger storage capacities and mean the ice can be wheeled to wherever it is required or even transported by road for event catering.

The ice machines provide a range of outputs: from 250kg to 1,000kg per 24 hours of flake ice for food display including buffets, fish, salads and fruit; from 90kg to 300kg per 24 hours of spray-formed cube ice, including 13g, 18g and 33g cubes; from 140kg to 400kg of lightweight 7g mini-cubes designed for fast-food outlets; from 90kg to 150kg per 24 hours of granular ice for bar use and for chilling Champagne buckets; from 250kg to 1,000kg per 24 hours of granular ice or flat ice flakes, where caterers need high volumes of either.

The ice-makers have a 'half-fill' switch, which cuts ice production by 50% when demand is reduced.
