Burco has launched six new items of electrical light catering equipment. The counter-top collection is finished in stainless steel and comprises a bain-marie, boiling top, fryer, griddle and two new slot toasters.
The counter-top dry heat bain-marie is suitable for keeping sauces, soups and pre-cooked foods ready for serving and comes with three gastronorm lidded pans. It has a front-positioned variable control and non-slip feet. The 500W bain-marie measures 400mm (w) x 600mm (d) x 275mm (h).
The 3kW boiling top has two single rings on a pressed hob with even heat distribution. It is designed to collect spillages, and has a variable control for consistent boiling or simmering. The unit measures 300mm (w) x 600mm (d) x 275mm (h).
The 3kW electric fryer has a six-litre capacity and features a flat-bottomed tank. It has a temperature range of 30¡ to 190¡C, and front-mounted controls for safe operation.
The fryer is designed for easy cleaning, with a hinged element and front-mounted drain tap. Complete with basket, drainpipe and lifting tool, it measures 300mm (w) x 600mm (d) x 275mm (h).
The 3kW electric griddle has a smooth griddle plate with a single heat zone and variable control. There is an easy-clean fat drainage channel and removable fat collection drawer and the unit measures 600mm (w) x 600mm (d) x 275mm (h).
The toasters are available in four- or six-slot versions and include ergonomically designed variable controls, a manual timer and a manual high-lift toast eject that helps keep toast warm until you are ready to serve.
There is a two- or four-slot selector on the smaller toaster and three- or six-slot selector on the larger version. Each model has a removable crumb tray and comes with a two-year warranty (excluding elements).
The four-slot toaster measures 370mm (w) x 210mm (d) x 225mm (h) and the six-slot version measures 470mm (w) x 210mm (d) x 225mm (h).
