
Eurest wins five-year leisure centre contract
Compass Group business and industry division Eurest has won a five-year contract to provide a catering and café service at the Olympiad leisure centre in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The deal will turn over £200,000 a year. Five Eurest staff will work on the contract, which was previously run in-house.
Salvation Army enlists Sodexho
Sodexho Healthcare has won a one-year rolling facilities management contract at the headquarters of the Salvation Army in Elephant & Castle, London. The deal, which will turn over £1m a year, includes reception, mailroom, courier and archive services. Thirty Sodexho staff will work on the contract, which sees the French caterer extend its catering and housekeeping deal at the site. All other services were previously run in-house.
Louis catering wins Egypt airport contract
Louis Catering, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Compass Group division SSP (Select Service Partner), has won a contract to operate seven new units at Egypt’s Cairo International Airport. The 10-year contract will turn over £1.7m a year. The first units open at the end of June, with the remainder expected to open by the end of August.
