Historic Scotland Visitor and Functions Catering Service

Historic Scotland, an executive agency of the Scottish Government, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced organisations who are interested in operating the visitor and functions catering services at the sites noted below.
Historic Scotland’s catering strategy has the following aims:

  • To provide a world class catering experience and enhance the overall visit
  • To offer an innovative and exciting food and beverage experience to all of our day visitors and corporate and wedding clients using local seasonal produce
  • To increase sales per visitor by delivering great service
  • To achieve joint financial success with partners committed to quality and service standards

Historic Scotland wishes to develop a commercial partnership with a competent caterer to operate and develop its multi site catering service. Our aim is to offer a unique service at each while maintaining consistently high standards of product and service.

The successful caterer will be required to provide substantial capital investment to assist in delivering the catering vision. Those expressing an interest must note that they will be required to provide the service at all of the sites noted above.
