Healthier Option is a range of "add water" bakery, bread and dessert mixes from Dr Oetker which is growing its UK food service business.
The range includes Oaty Crumble Mix, Bread and Roll Mix; Pizza Base Mix; Sponge Mix; Ginger Sponge Mix; Chocolate Sponge Mix; Choc Fudge Brownie; Cookie Mix - chocolate and plain; Delight Desserts - raspberry, butterscotch, strawberry, chocolate & banana; Carrot Cake Mix; Reduced Salt Gravy Mix; and Complete Custard Mix.
Packed in cases of 4 x 3.5kg, the mixes are suitable for schools, since they meet guidelines by the School Food Trust in terms of reduced sugar and salt, added calcium and fibre, natural colour and flavour and hydrogenated fat-free.
Several recipes using the mixes are available including Chocolate Cherry Brownie and Banana Flapjack Cheesecake.
