New Italian and British wines from CWF

Le Poesie Ripassa della Valpolicella DOC

Cantina di Soave, situated in the heart of the Soave area is one of Italy's largest co-operative wineries, producing in excess of 35 million bottles each year.

Its new range of Le Poesie wines for the UK on trade, available through CWF, aims to reflect the most prized wines of Veneto, from the ever-popular Pinot Grigio and Soave DOC wines through to the classic Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC produced through a unique ageing process.

The range was developed to appeal to operators seeking access to seven traditional wine varietals that offer excellent quality and value. There are also three Le Poesie house wines Ð Rosso Veneto IGT (11% vol), Bianco Veneto IGT (11% vol) and Rosato Veneto IGT (11.5% vol).

CWF has also extended its Silver Bay Point light British wines with a new single serve 18.7cl format allowing licensees to sell at £1.99 per bottle with a healthy profit margin. Launched in September 2008, the range comes in three variants - a soft juicy red, a medium fruity white and a light rosé.
