In developing the DC 20-4A Spray System ice-maker, Direct Catering set out to prove that lack of space need not be a prohibitive factor to producing good quality ice.
With a footprint of 355mm (w) x 404mm(d) x 585mm (h), the machine has an output of 20kg per 24 hours and a bin capacity of 4kg.
With ice production and ice storage bin combined as one unit the DC 20-4A is fully self-contained, producing truncated compact ice for even cooling over long periods. It is constructed of food-quality stainless steel for strength and hygiene and features non-corrosive quality components for reliability including a tin plated evaporator unit, which inhibits the formation of limescale.
The fully insulated storage bin, which helps keep the ice in pristine condition for longer, is made from moulded ABS plastic for easy cleaning and the use of environmentally friendly R404 refrigerant gives the unit its green credentials. The DC 20-4A comes with a three-year warranty as standard and only requires a 13amp supply. The option of a water-cooled ice maker is available on request.
